The pattern on this beard pendant is based on Viking-era protective symbols and shield symbolism. The elongated, closed shape in the center resembles the core of a shield or a symbol carved into a rune stone – it symbolizes protection, stability, and steadfastness. The subtle dot pattern surrounding the surface refers to the layers of time and experience: each dot is a step, a battle or a journey that shapes its wearer. The whole exudes quiet strength, self-control and the spirit of a warrior who does not need grand gestures to be seen.

Is surgical steel a good material?

Surgical steel is a popular material for jewellery because it is durable and lasts a lifetime. The steel itself does not wear in use, but the coatings on it, such as gold plating (14K or 18K) or other metallic coatings, can wear over time.
